These Macadamia nut shells are sourced from Uncle Mike’s place in Onehunga. My three boys climb the tree every December and get all the nuts off – like giant squirrels. They get processed and shelled once the nuts have dried out. These bags have around 7L (around 3kg±) of shells in them and will give your BBQ the most unique delicate nutty flavour. Use one handful at a time and add to your favourite wood chunks.
