Care instructions for Low N Slow Chopping and Serving Boards  

 To ensure your wooden chopping and serving boards remain in great condition and continue to perform well, follow these simple care instructions:  

 Cleaning  

Hand wash only: Avoid putting your wooden boards in the dishwasher, as the high heat and harsh detergents can damage the wood. 

Mild soap and water: Wash your boards with mild soap and warm water. Scrub gently with a soft-bristled brush to remove any food residue.

Rinse thoroughly: Rinse your boards thoroughly with clean water to remove any soap residue. 

Dry immediately: Dry your boards immediately with a clean towel to prevent water spots.  

Drying and Storage 

Dry flat or upright: Store your boards flat or upright to prevent warping or cracking.  

Avoid direct sunlight: Direct sunlight can cause the wood to fade or become brittle. Store your boards in a shaded area or use a UV-resistant finish. 

Maintenance 

Oil regularly: Regularly oiling your boards will help maintain the wood's natural moisture barrier and prevent cracking. Use a food-safe mineral oil, such as Low n Slow board butter. Alternatively use olive oil.
